Accountabilities:
- Lead and support the implementation of global development operations transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and business objectives.
- Own end-to-end project delivery, including project scoping, charter development, implementation planning, execution, and completion.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend sustainable clinical trial solutions that improve performance, collaboration, and scalability.
- Drive the integration of digital technologies, innovative tools, and process improvements to enhance clinical operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinical operations, technology, regulatory, and local business teams to manage dependencies and deliver successful outcomes.
- Establish project governance structures, tracking mechanisms, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting processes to monitor progress and business impact.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks while proactively managing project challenges and interdependencies.
- Develop business cases, evaluate return on investment, and use data-driven insights to maximize value creation.
- Communicate transformation progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and governance groups.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, collaboration, and inclusive leadership.
- Doctorate degree with 4+ years of transformation initiative experience, or Master’s degree with 7+ years of transformation initiative experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of transformation initiative experience.
- Proven experience implementing digital solutions such as eClinical platforms, electronic data capture systems, AI/ML applications, or decentralized clinical trial technologies.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle processes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards including GCP, ICH, FDA, and EMA expectations.
- Demonstrated success leading transformation initiatives within highly matrixed global organizations.
- Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams including clinical operations, technology, regulatory, and research functions.
- Experience developing implementation strategies that drive stakeholder engagement and sustainable adoption of new solutions.
- Strong expertise in data-driven decision-making, KPI development, dashboards, continuous improvement methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile practices.
- Excellent program management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts into clear business value.
- Experience creating structured transformation programs focused on operational excellence and measurable improvements.
- Competitive annual salary range of $175,418.75 – $237,331.25 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
