What you’ll do:
Job SummaryPerform and support the monthly closing process, prepare Balance sheet Reconciliations BSR (Bank, Income, AR intercompany, liabilities, etc), Reconciliation for bank accounts, JE for accruals,Tax JE, analysis for financial reports focus on process improvement to enhance efficiency and service delivery. They serve as a central point for managing escalated inquiries, analyzing data for trends, and collaborating with other departments to optimize centralized support functions Job Responsibilities1. General accounting procedures and perform the monthly closing process for Sites.2. Ensure the accuraccy of the JE posted and identify trends or risks on the process.3. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations every month for different balance accounts.4. Ensure the accuracy on Tax JE, VAT, inventory, banks, expense liabilities, resolution of on hold invoices, third part matrix and fixed assets.5. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.6. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFA goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.7. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.8. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.9. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.10. Mantain a zero defect mindset on the deliveries and develop a critical thinking and problem solving.11. Take ownership of their role, inspires and decision making for gaps identified on the process12. Act as a business partner with different workstreams, engage and deliver results through others.13. Open to receive feedback and apply self lerarning on a daily basis14. Accuracy of internal polices and challenge the current status.Qualifications:
Education level required Bachelor´s degree in accounting, finance or related.Years and area of experience required2 - 4 years of experience in finance/ accounting and auditing in a multinational company.Technical knowledge - Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulation- Exposure to US GAAP / MEX GAAP reporting requirements- SAP Knowledge / Oracle KnowledgeSkills:
