Associate -Digital Product Management (Digital Content Analyst)

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive CEG Digital Content Analyst to join the Content & Governance team within The Square Product Team, American Express's intranet platform. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining content for the Colleague Experience Group (CEG), ensuring content is accurate, engaging, compliant, and aligned with governance standards.
Partnering closely with CEG stakeholders, you will support the end-to-end content lifecycle, including intake, creation, publishing, maintenance, and optimization of content across The Square. You will play a key role in delivering a high-quality colleague experience by executing content requests, applying governance best practices, and ensuring content remains current, relevant, and accessible.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities independently, and a passion for creating exceptional digital content experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Content Management & Delivery
- Manage day-to-day content operations, including content creation, updates, publishing, and maintenance across The Square.
- Partner with CEG stakeholders to gather requirements and execute content requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Create and update pages using Unily widgets, templates, layouts, and content components.
- Manage content intake through Airtable, including request triage, tracking, prioritization, and execution.
- Support content builds, campaigns, and special projects across the CEG organization.
- Maintain site structure, navigation, permissions, audience targeting, and content visibility settings.
- Conduct routine content reviews to ensure content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with business objectives.
Content Governance & Quality Assurance
- Apply and enforce content governance standards, including approvals, ownership, content lifecycle management, retention, and archiving.
- Audit content for compliance with brand standards, governance requirements, accessibility guidelines, and platform best practices.
- Identify and remove outdated, duplicate, or non-compliant content.
- Partner with stakeholders to improve content quality and drive adoption of governance best practices.
- Leverage governance reporting tools and dashboards to monitor content health and support remediation efforts.
Content Performance & Optimization
- Monitor content performance and engagement metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Analyze content trends and user behavior to inform recommendations that enhance the colleague experience.
- Track content lifecycle metrics and proactively identify underperforming or outdated content.
- Support reporting and dashboard creation to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
Stakeholder Partnership & Operational Support
- Serve as a trusted partner to content owners and business stakeholders, providing guidance on content standards, governance, and publishing best practices.
- Support documentation of processes, standards, and operational procedures.
- Assist with stakeholder training, knowledge sharing, and adoption of content management best practices.
- Support the Senior Product Manager with ongoing initiatives, enhancements, and operational priorities as needed.
- 2+ years of experience managing content within a CMS, intranet, or digital workplace platform; Unily experience preferred.
- Experience supporting content operations, governance, or digital communications programs.
- Experience managing content intake workflows using Airtable, Jira or similar request management tools.
- Experience supporting enterprise intranets, employee experience platforms, internal communications, or HR content.
- Demonstrated ability to balance business-as-usual responsibilities with short-term projects and competing priorities.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong understanding of CMS functionality, page building, content structures, and digital content best practices.
- Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and digital workplace technologies.
- Ability to analyze content performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

- Ability to effectively communicate governance standards, content best practices, and recommendations to diverse audiences.
