Accountabilities
- Support daily catering sales efforts by identifying new leads, assisting with prospecting activities, and following up on potential business opportunities.
- Respond promptly to inbound catering inquiries and help guide customers from initial interest to confirmed orders.
- Maintain accurate catering orders, customer records, and lead information across internal systems and dashboards.
- Coordinate with restaurant teams to confirm order details, scheduling, menu selections, delivery or pickup logistics, and payment information.
- Monitor upcoming catering orders, proactively communicate updates, and ensure smooth execution across all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through timely communication and post-order follow-up.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and contribute to customer retention initiatives.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the catering sales team while ensuring accuracy, responsiveness, and excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 1 year of experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant operations, customer service, or sales support.
- Previous catering or restaurant industry experience is preferred.
- Interest or experience in sales, lead generation, or business development.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Experience using ordering systems, CRM platforms, dashboards, or similar business tools.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Reliable internet connection and ability to maintain consistent communication during business hours.
- Competitive hourly pay ranging from $21.63 to $24.04.
- Tiered commission opportunity ranging from 2% to 5% based on generated and fulfilled sales.
