What we want
The Office of Admissions is looking for Admission Reviewers. The ideal candidate would be able to review freshman applications during current admission season by utilizing a holistic assessment of the complete application. The ideal candidate would also be able to evaluate information in a timely and professional manner.
What you need to know
Salary: $15.00/Hourly
Cover Letter & Resume: A cover letter and resume are strongly recommended
Position Details: This is a part-time seasonal position: Starting in Late-August 2026 until March 2027. Flexible weekday hours between 7a.m. and 7 p.m. as well as Saturday/Sunday hours available throughout the season. Work 19 hours per week with an opportunity to increase hours for a limited time during peak season. Weekend and/or extended work hours may be necessary and required during peak periods of the review cycle. This position requires the use of a computer at a desk in a computer lab/office setting and is located in College Station, Texas.
TRS retirees can work up to 92 hours per month. If you are employed elsewhere in a TRS-eligible position, there may be important TRS considerations to keep in mind.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
Experience reviewing applications in an academic, counseling, or related setting
Experience working at Texas A&M University or any institution of higher education
Experience with youth populations
Outreach and/or recruitment experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Ability to evaluate and review applications using computer technology
Must be able to maintain weekly reports of all activities and adhere to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) guidelines
Must be motivated, organized, thoughtful, and diplomatic
Must be able to conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards consistent with all state and federal accreditation and institutional rules and regulations regarding student recruitment
