Join the team as Twilio’s next Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition - GTM and Marketing, Americas.
About the job
This position is needed to lead our North America and LATAM (Americas) recruiting efforts across GTM and Marketing. You aren't just managing a team; you will be a critical pillar of the global TA leadership team. Reporting directly to the Global Director of TA - GTM and Marketing, you will serve as the primary strategic advisor to our GTM (including Sales, Partnerships, and Global Operations) and Marketing executive leaders in the region. Your mission is to blend operational excellence with a human-centric leadership approach, ensuring our Americas recruiting engine is fast, fair, data-driven and set up to deliver the hires that will accelerate Twilio’s future.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Strategic Leadership: Serve as a key member of the extended TA Leadership Team, contributing to global TA strategy while owning the specific roadmap for NAMER and LATAM GTM and Marketing functions. Independently create and present regular insights and quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to executive leadership, analyzing and translating raw metrics into actionable business stories and recommendations.
- Develop and Grow your Team: Lead, mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of full-cycle talent advisors. You’ll invest in their career growth, sharpen their advisory, sourcing and closing skills, and foster a high-performance culture rooted in a growth mindset.
- Drive Business Results: Own your team’s end-to-end recruitment strategy and delivery for GTM and Marketing business units across the Americas. Prioritize efforts that best align with Twilio's strategic goals and use your market knowledge and business acumen to influence and make informed decisions. Collaborate effectively across HRBPs, TA Operations, Total Rewards/Compensation, Finance, and Legal to ensure our hiring practices are inclusive, compliant, and competitive in a tightening talent market.
- Think Long-Term: Act as a trusted advisor to VP and SVP-level stakeholders and TA partners (TA Ops, Finance, Comp/Total Rewards, HR Business Partners). You won't just drive execution; you’ll bring market intelligence and hiring data to influence org design, workforce planning, and best-in-class talent strategies across both regions. You’ll cultivate strategic thinking within your team and influence regional and global talent strategies that address and solve for the immediate and future needs.
- Lead through Change & Champion Innovation: Embrace and advocate for change and innovation, turning challenges into opportunities for growth and continuous improvement. Champion agility, experimentation, and resilience within our TA teams as we learn to work with AI, new technology, tools, and platforms.
- Solve Impactful Problems: Ensure your team and our TA org are tackling the most impactful problems to create the best outcomes possible, using critical thinking and sound judgment to weigh risk and leverage innovative solutions. Champion excellence in candidate quality and experience so your team isn’t just filling roles as order takers, but are functioning as talent engineers who make the hires that strengthen Twilio’s capabilities across GTM and Marketing functions.
- Operational Excellence: Own the mechanics of a predictable recruiting engine. You’ll model behavior for your team of making evidence-based decisions that don’t solely rely on gut instinct or intuition. You’ll partner with TA Ops and the Talent Research & Intelligence teams to optimize location strategy, candidate pipelines, anchor on quality process and decisions, and uphold candidate experience. You’ll set clear hiring SLAs, monitor pipeline health and conversion metrics, and implement structured frameworks (such as RACI) so hiring scales smoothly and reliably.
