Sr Engineers, Software located in Atlanta, GA will work with a team of software engineers to design, implement, and deploy complete systems which meet customer's requirements and are cloud native.Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Design, develop, and enhance full stack software solutions by implementing scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular frameworks.
- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices integrating with internal and external systems through cloud services across Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).
- Utilize services including GCP Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Implement robust authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT-based security models.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Create server-side rendered user interfaces using Thymeleaf and develop interactive front-end components using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Design and implement data persistence layers using relational databases including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Deploy and manage containerized and cloud-native applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and PCF for scalable and resilient operations.
- Collaborate on architectural design, perform code reviews, and ensure adherence to secure coding and performance best practices.
- Contribute to defining and optimizing deployment strategies across development, staging, and production environments.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt emerging cloud technologies and frameworks to enhance scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.
- Telecommuting is permitted, but applicant must work from the worksite location at least 3-4 days per week.
- No additional national or international travel is anticipated.
Skill requirements:

Experience and education requirements:
PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Applied Computer Science, or related, or its foreign equivalent and 3 years of relevant work experience.
ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computer Science, or related, or its foreign equivalent, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
