Accountabilities:

    The Insights Analyst will be responsible for enabling data-informed product decisions by managing analytics frameworks, extracting insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to translate business needs into effective measurement strategies.

    • Develop and maintain measurement plans for digital platforms, ensuring accurate analytics tracking through implementation and quality control of tags.
    • Write and optimize SQL queries to analyze performance data across mobile applications, video platforms, and websites.
    • Support product analytics initiatives by creating dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions for internal stakeholders.
    • Partner with data and product teams to design analytics tools and infrastructure that address evolving business needs.
    • Diagnose and resolve data quality issues while improving reporting workflows, scheduled queries, and analytics processes.
    • Create documentation and best practices for analytics tracking, reporting, and data usage across digital products.
    • Build strong relationships with product teams and stakeholders to understand priorities and deliver meaningful insights.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings experience in digital analytics, data analysis, and product measurement, with strong technical skills and a collaborative approach to solving complex problems.

      • 2+ years of experience working with SQL, databases, and analytics environments.
      • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Dataform, or similar data processing tools.
      • Strong knowledge of mobile analytics platforms, including Google Firebase data and app analytics.
      • Experience working with GA4 or other large-scale digital behavior datasets.
      • Proven experience creating measurement plans and validating analytics implementations using Google Tag Manager.
      • Familiarity with Looker, Excel, Google Sheets, and advanced reporting techniques.
      • Understanding of digital data tracking lifecycles, from tagging and collection through analysis and insights generation.
      • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to define analytics requirements and build solutions.
      • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
      • Strong communication skills, curiosity, and enthusiasm for using data to improve products and user experiences.
      • Preferred experience includes work in media, journalism, audience analytics, or statistical modeling using Python or R.
