Accountabilities:

    The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading engineering teams, driving technical strategy, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable software products. Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 9 engineers across multiple product-focused teams.
    • Build and maintain a high-performance engineering culture centered on collaboration, innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
    • Attract, recruit, and retain exceptional engineering talent, including senior and Staff-level engineers.
    • Provide technical leadership across full-stack web and mobile development initiatives.
    • Drive product-led growth strategies through experimentation, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, and data-informed development.
    • Guide teams in delivering AI-powered features, intelligent solutions, and emerging technology initiatives.
    • Oversee the full software development lifecycle, including planning, architecture, development, testing, deployment, and continuous optimization.
    • Improve engineering processes, Agile practices, delivery cadence, and team predictability.
    • Partner closely with product management, engineering leaders, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align technical execution with business goals.
    • Serve as a technical communicator who can bridge engineering discussions with broader business priorities.
    • Coach engineers through performance management, career development, feedback, and professional growth opportunities.
    • Promote engineering best practices and encourage innovation through modern development approaches and technologies.
    • Requirements:

      The successful candidate will be an experienced engineering leader with a strong technical foundation, proven people management skills, and a passion for building impactful software products. Required qualifications include:

      • 7+ years of software engineering experience, including a strong background as a Senior Software Engineer before transitioning into management.
      • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, ideally overseeing multiple teams or groups of 7+ engineers.
      • Proven ability to lead distributed or remote engineering teams and build strong team culture across locations.
      • Deep understanding of modern Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and experiment-driven development practices.
      • Experience supporting Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies and using data-driven experimentation to improve user acquisition, retention, and monetization.
      • Demonstrated success hiring, mentoring, and retaining highly skilled engineering talent.
      • Strong technical leadership experience in full-stack web and mobile application development.
      • Proficiency with modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
      • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to engineers, product teams, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Experience leading teams responsible for large-scale, customer-facing applications.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Preferred experience with AI products, LLM integrations, autonomous agents, mobile applications with large user bases, payment technologies, fintech integrations, or startup environments.
