Position Overview

Autodesk Consulting is looking for a Lead Consultant to join our Southern Europe team, supporting strategic customers across France, Italy, Spain and Portugal.

This is a unique hybrid role that combines business consulting, industry expertise, solution implementation and customer advisory. You will partner with some of Autodesk's largest customers to define their digital transformation strategy, lead solution adoption, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable discussing business strategy with executives as they are rolling up their sleeves to configure solutions, lead workshops, and guide implementation teams.

You'll lead customer engagements from discovery through value realization, coordinating cross-functional teams and acting as the trusted advisor throughout the customer journey.

What You'll Do

  • Build trusted relationships with customer executives, business leaders and project teams.

  • Understand customer business objectives, challenges and industry context to define outcome-driven solutions.

  • Design implementation approaches that balance business priorities, technical feasibility and speed to value.

  • Lead consulting engagements, coordinating Autodesk specialists and partner resources to deliver successful outcomes.

  • Provide hands-on implementation services for Autodesk solutions within your area of expertise.

  • Drive customer adoption through change management, governance and best practices.

  • Identify and scope opportunities to expand customer value and collaborate closely with Sales, Customer Success and Solution Architects.

  • Act as an industry thought leader by sharing insights, best practices and innovative approaches.

  • Continuously learn new technologies, workflows and AI-enabled capabilities to better serve customers.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or Operations (AECO).

  • Deep expertise in at least one AECO sub-industry, with a strong understanding of customer business processes.

  • Proven experience leading customer engagements from strategy through implementation.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Autodesk technologies relevant to your domain. You don't need to know every product, but you should be recognised as an expert in your area and comfortable configuring, implementing and advising customers.

  • Ability to translate complex business challenges into practical, scalable solutions.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams through influence rather than formal authority.

  • Excellent workshop facilitation, communication and executive presentation skills.

  • Strong understanding of change management and technology adoption.

  • Fluent English and at least one Southern European language (French, Italian, Spanish) are required. Additional regional languages are highly valued.

  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%).

What Makes You Successful

You're someone who enjoys solving complex problems, thrives in collaborative environments and is motivated by helping customers achieve meaningful business outcomes.

You are:

  • Ingenious – Curious, adaptable and always looking for better ways to solve problems, learn new skills and leverage emerging technologies, including AI.

  • One Autodesk – You build strong partnerships, bring people together and believe the best outcomes come from collaboration across teams and disciplines.

  • Relentless – You proactively remove obstacles, embrace change and stay focused on helping customers—and Autodesk—achieve their goals.

  • Customer Obsessed – You listen first, understand context and build lasting relationships based on trust and measurable value.

  • Outcome Focused – You think beyond implementation, helping customers realize business value from their investment.

Why Autodesk
