Accountabilities:
- Leading payer contract modeling and financial analysis to evaluate current and proposed reimbursement rates across multiple markets and service lines.
- Translating complex pricing and transparency data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for negotiation support.
- Building, validating, and maintaining high-quality financial models to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of outputs.
- Managing biannual data collection cycles, including validation, cleanup, and preparation of large-scale datasets for analysis.
- Identifying and resolving data discrepancies in collaboration with Revenue Cycle Management and operational teams.
- Supporting ad-hoc financial and reimbursement analyses to inform leadership decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Preparing clear, concise presentations and reports for executive stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in healthcare analytics, including at least 2 years focused on payer contract modeling.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies (e.g., CMS-based pricing, fee schedules, carve-outs, percent of billed charges).
- Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Basic working knowledge of SQL is preferred.
- Experience working with large and complex healthcare billing datasets and financial models.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses to executive audiences.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across clinical, operational, and financial teams.
