The Senior Material planner is responsible for the procurement, pull, flow, expediting of material and identification and resolution of materials issues and shortages within the PFC ledger consistent with operating objectives. Gather and present data to upper management to aid in production scheduling. Works with Buyers, Assembly Technicians, production supervisors, and suppliers to ensure effective Plant operation. Assist in implementing ELS (Lean Manufacturing) techniques throughout the plant and division as required.Manage material planning, procurement, and inventory to support production schedules and customer demand.Execute MRP recommendations, purchase materials, and maintain accurate planning data across systems.Proactively identify, monitor, and resolve material shortages, supply risks, and delivery issues.Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely material availability and efficient operations.Analyze supply chain data and provide updates, recommendations, and presentations to support production planning.Expedite critical orders and maintain supplier commitments, promise dates, and shortage tracking.Support continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing (ELS), and change management initiatives within the supply chain.Manage Kanban processes and help optimize inventory levels by reducing excess and obsolete materials.Serve as a backup for other planners and perform specialized supply chain activities as needed.Qualifications:
Required (Basic)Qualifications:Must have two years' experience working with MAPICS systems, inventory transactions and Kanban systemMust have a High school diploma or GED from an accredited institutionEaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
