We're committed to excellence in everything we do, and we're seeking talented individuals who share our passion and values to join our team.What you’ll doStrong orientation towards safety, quality, cost, delivery, morale, and continuous improvement.Drive and function various AWP units around facility for inspection, shipment, and storageUtilize forklifts to move units around for various functionsLoad a variety of AWP units onto outbound shipment trailers.Reconfigure units to match customer orders. Perform various quality inspections based on standards.Identify minor issues and escalate.Enter defects into Tulip.Operate a variety of handheld tools.Performs other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the position.What you’ll bringRequires basic knowledge of computer applications – Microsoft SuiteRequires sufficient human relations skills to receive and communicate technical instructions, orient new team members, and maintain harmony in a small work team of diverse backgrounds.Requires the completion of a high school curriculum or the equivalent.Requires basic understanding of MEWP assembly and functions.Must be able to work at height and ability to learn all unit types. Ability to work in all types of weather.Additional Nice to HavesMust have an in-depth knowledge of safe work practices.MEWP license a plus.Must be a self starter and be able to manage time wisely.Additional vocational education may substitute for experience.Understand the flow of production and adhere to operations visual management system and production process.Good attendance is key to success.At least 1-year experience in manufacturing or similar type of work environment.Physical Requirements10-hour shifts. OT as required.Standing for long periods of time.Requires ambulatory ability to walk, stand, reach, stoop and bend on a continuous basis. Requires auditory ability to project voice in a production environment and hear instructions.Work at various heights dependent on machine type. Working ConditionsWork is performed in a heavy manufacturing environment where significant safety considerations exist from use of dangerous equipment, proximity to moving objects, full-body physical labor and handling of medium-to-heavy weight materials. Required equipment for all operations includes but not limited to; steel toe shoes, hearing protection and safety glasses.SalaryThe starting rate of pay for this position is $25.05 (see step grid) hourly.
