Accountabilities:

    The role focuses on owning Salesforce architecture, driving technical excellence, and delivering scalable enterprise solutions across the platform. Key responsibilities include:

    • Owning the overall technical architecture and governance of the Salesforce platform, ensuring scalability, security, performance, and long-term maintainability.
    • Defining and enforcing development standards, design patterns, branching strategies, and CI/CD practices across Salesforce engineering teams.
    • Establishing platform guardrails to manage technical debt, data storage, governor limits, and system performance.
    • Architecting solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Billing environments.
    • Designing highly scalable workflows, custom solutions, and integrations supporting complex business processes and large data volumes.
    • Leading Experience Cloud architecture initiatives, including secure and high-performing self-service and partner portals using modern Salesforce technologies.
    • Managing security architecture, including data-sharing models, guest user security policies, encryption strategies, and vulnerability mitigation.
    • Designing and overseeing Salesforce Billing and CPQ solutions, ensuring accurate financial data flows across pricing, invoicing, revenue processes, and financial systems.
    • Acting as the technical owner for integrations between Salesforce and ERP systems, ensuring data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and reliable error-handling processes.
    • Designing enterprise integration architectures using middleware platforms, event-driven patterns, APIs, and secure authentication frameworks.
    • Defining strategies for document automation and integrations with contract lifecycle management tools.
    • Serving as the highest technical escalation point for complex Salesforce engineering challenges.
    • Mentoring developers and administrators while promoting engineering excellence, continuous learning, and strong architectural practices.
    • Leading technical design reviews and architecture discussions to ensure quality before production deployment.
    • Partnering with product, finance, operations, and executive stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced Salesforce architect and technical leader with a strong background in enterprise-scale implementations, platform governance, and engineering leadership. Required qualifications and skills include:

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
      • 8+ years of dedicated Salesforce development and architecture experience.
      • Proven experience leading enterprise Salesforce implementations across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Salesforce Billing environments.
      • Strong expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, asynchronous processing, and selecting the right balance between declarative and programmatic solutions.
      • Deep knowledge of Salesforce Billing, CPQ processes, payment integrations, ledger impacts, and ERP synchronization.
      • Advanced experience with enterprise integration patterns, middleware platforms, REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth authentication, and event-driven architectures.
      • Strong DevOps experience with Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Copado, Salto, Gearset, Jenkins, or similar solutions.
      • Expert understanding of Salesforce security architecture, sharing models, encryption, sensitive data protection, and large data volume management.
      • Experience mentoring developers, influencing technical direction, and managing complex technical debt.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to diagnose issues across distributed systems.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes for senior stakeholders.
      • Ability to work effectively in ambiguous environments, define solutions from high-level objectives, and drive execution.
      • Preferred qualifications include:

        • Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect certification.
        • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II certification.
        • Salesforce Certified B2B Solution Architect certification.
        • Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist or CPQ Specialist certification.
        • Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant certification.
