What You'll Do as Our Welder/Fabricator
- Fabricate custom components and sawmill equipment using MIG, Stick, and other welding processes to deliver quality craftsmanship.
- Install new equipment and complete repairs at customer locations while delivering dependable, professional service.
- Interpret fabrication drawings, measurements, and work orders to complete each project accurately.
- Operate welding equipment, hand tools, and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Travel primarily to local customer job sites, with occasional travel throughout Pennsylvania and surrounding states, including occasional overnight travel.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites using company vehicles and trailers as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety practices.
- Represent AW Welding with professionalism by building positive relationships and providing quality workmanship on every job.
Our Ideal Welder/Fabricator
- Dependable: You take ownership of your work, follow through on commitments, and can be trusted to work independently when needed.
- Mechanically Minded: You enjoy building, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment while finding practical solutions to challenges.
- Experienced: You have at least one year of welding or fabrication experience, are comfortable using hand and power tools, and can read fabrication drawings or blueprints (preferred).
- Safety-Conscious: You have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record, can work safely with welding equipment and tools, and are willing to obtain a DOT physical if needed.
- Physically Capable: You can lift up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods, safely climb ladders and scaffolding, work at heights, and perform indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Team-Oriented: You enjoy working alongside others, represent the company professionally at customer job sites, and take pride in delivering quality craftsmanship that reflects well on our team.

- Pay: $23.00-$30.00/hour, DOE
