Are you an experienced SAP Finance professional looking to work on large-scale transformation programs across New Zealand and the wider APAC region?

We are looking for a talented SAP S/4HANA Finance (FINS) Functional Consultant to join our growing SAP practice and help clients modernize finance operations, improve business performance, and unlock the full value of their SAP investments.

This is an opportunity to work alongside some of New Zealand's leading SAP specialists while delivering innovative solutions for enterprise clients across industries.

The Role:

As an SAP S/4HANA Finance Functional Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end SAP Finance transformation initiatives, from solution design through to implementation and business adoption.

You'll work directly with finance leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams to define future-state finance processes and deliver scalable SAP solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead client workshops to gather and analyze business requirements.

  • Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.

  • Deliver finance transformation projects across Financial Accounting and Management Accounting processes.

  • Support solution design, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.

  • Drive finance process optimization and standardization initiatives.

  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and project stakeholders.

  • Provide trusted advisory services to CFO and Finance leadership teams.

  • Manage project workstreams and mentor junior consultants.

  • Contribute to proposals, solutioning activities, and business development initiatives.

To Be Successful, You'll Bring

  • 6+ years SAP Finance consulting experience.

  • Experience delivering SAP implementation or transformation programs.

  • Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance configuration capability.

  • Deep understanding of finance business processes and controls.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.

  • Experience working within consulting, professional services, or large enterprise environments.

  • Open to any NZ locations – Auckland / Wellington / Christchurch
  • Should be NZ Citizen / PR Holder / other eligible working rights (Partner Visa, Post Study Visa, Open Work Visa).
