Senior Software Engineer (.Net/Blazor)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications. You will leverage your expertise in Blazor (Server and WebAssembly) to build interactive, responsive, and high-performance user interfaces while writing clean, scalable backend logic in C#.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using the .NET Core/.NET 6/8+ ecosystem.
- Blazor Expertise: Architect and build rich, interactive UI components using Blazor Server and/or Blazor WebAssembly. Leverage Blazor’s component-based architecture for reusability.
- Backend Engineering: Develop robust RESTful APIs and microservices using ASP.NET Core Web API. Implement background services, dependency injection, and middleware.
- Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, write complex T-SQL queries, and manage data interactions using Entity Framework Core (Code-First/Migrations).
- State Management: Implement efficient state management strategies in Blazor (e.g., Fluxor, Blazor State, or Cascading Parameters) to handle complex application flows.
- Authentication & Security: Implement security best practices including JWT authentication, OAuth 2.0, IdentityServer, and role-based authorization within Blazor components.
- Code Quality: Write unit tests (xUnit/NUnit) and integration tests. Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to SOLID principles and design patterns.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize Blazor Server circuit management, reduce WASM download size, and implement virtualization for large datasets.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Core: 5+ years of experience in C# and .NET Core / .NET 5/6/7/8.
- Front-End (Blazor): 3+ years of hands-on experience with Blazor (Server and/or WASM).
- Deep understanding of the Blazor component lifecycle (OnInitializedAsync, OnParametersSet, etc.).
- Experience with JS Interop to call JavaScript libraries from Blazor.
- Knowledge of Razor syntax, layout components, and templating.
- Web Standards: Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap/Tailwind, and JavaScript (ES6).
- APIs: Deep experience with ASP.NET Core Web API, Swagger/OpenAPI, and RESTful design principles.
- Data: Proficient in SQL Server or PostgreSQL. Expertise in Entity Framework Core (LINQ, Migrations, Performance tuning).
- Tooling: Experience with Visual Studio 2022, Git (GitFlow), and Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
- Architecture: Understanding of Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and CQRS patterns.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.
- Experience with Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Service Bus) or AWS.
