**Job Description Summary** Systems engineering is a cross-functional engineering discipline centered on an approach, mindset, and process. All activities that consider both the business and the technical needs of the customers with the goal of providing a quality product that meets the users needs. In this role, you will lead key Systems Engineering objectives in support of the T901 EMD program execution. You will partner with technical and organizational leaders to identify, develop, and execute projects/process improvements to ensure on-time delivery, increase productivity, and develop new strategies. You will have direct impact on approaches, projects and programs in the T901 organization and ways of working, impacting quality, efficiency and effectiveness of the entire team, with significant input into priorities. The role has moderate autonomy, requiring high levels of operational judgment. **Job Description** **Roles and Responsibilities** + Support key Systems Engineering deliverables required to support T901 EMD program execution. + Lead and participate in technical reviews, IPT meetings, test design reviews, tollgate reviews, etc. + Lead teams without direct reporting and provide Systems guidance to broader T901 team. + Collaborate across organizations to streamline engineering processes, improve team productivity, and ensure effective daily management. + Facilitate Weekly Operating Rhythm (WOR) and Monthly Operating Reviews (MOR), tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and drive operational performance. + Guide and coach the team in the application of lean tools, such as action plans, problem-solving reports, value stream mapping, and standard work, to foster a culture of continuous improvement. + Oversee the development and execution of process improvement projects and initiatives, including the selection of methods, tools, and deployment strategies to enhance operational efficiency. + Communicate lean and process improvement strategies, risks, and recommendations to senior leaders, direct organization, and cross-functional partner organizations to ensure alignment and support. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering position. + GE Aerospace will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. **Desired Characteristics** + Experience with engineering processes + Experience in lean principles and associated tools + Strong oral and written communication skills + Strong interpersonal and leadership skills + Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems + Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. + Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
