Role Description

Form Energy is hiring an MRB (Material Review Board) Technician at our FF1 Facility in Weirton, WV. This role is a part of the Manufacturing Operations team, reporting to a shift production supervisor. As part of our Manufacturing Operations team, you will contribute in supporting the production team in collaboration with our quality, MES, and engineering teams. What you'll do:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of incoming materials, components, and finished products to detect defects, non-conformities, and deviations from established quality benchmarks.

  • Maintain comprehensive records of all activities within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), detailing performed tasks, utilized materials, material status, and time expenditure.

  • Perform corrective rework on defective components or products to ensure adherence to quality specifications as required.

  • Act as a key liaison between operations, quality, engineering, and MES teams for resolutions to product material-related issues.

  • Provide on-the-job training to manufacturing associates as it applies to non-conformances at various stages in our production processes.

What you'll bring:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing; preferably with experience in quality.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to identify defects and quality discrepancies.

  • Advanced problem-solving capabilities and the ability to function autonomously and within a team framework.

  • Experience utilizing and inputting data into computerized systems, particularly Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  • Robust communication proficiencies and the capacity to collaborate efficiently with team members.

  • The ability to lift and transport materials up to530 pounds in weight.

Where you'll work:

This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing.
