Role Description
Form Energy is hiring an MRB (Material Review Board) Technician at our FF1 Facility in Weirton, WV. This role is a part of the Manufacturing Operations team, reporting to a shift production supervisor. As part of our Manufacturing Operations team, you will contribute in supporting the production team in collaboration with our quality, MES, and engineering teams. What you'll do:
Conduct thorough examinations of incoming materials, components, and finished products to detect defects, non-conformities, and deviations from established quality benchmarks.
Maintain comprehensive records of all activities within a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), detailing performed tasks, utilized materials, material status, and time expenditure.
Perform corrective rework on defective components or products to ensure adherence to quality specifications as required.
Act as a key liaison between operations, quality, engineering, and MES teams for resolutions to product material-related issues.
Provide on-the-job training to manufacturing associates as it applies to non-conformances at various stages in our production processes.
What you'll bring:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing; preferably with experience in quality.
Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to identify defects and quality discrepancies.
Advanced problem-solving capabilities and the ability to function autonomously and within a team framework.
Experience utilizing and inputting data into computerized systems, particularly Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
Robust communication proficiencies and the capacity to collaborate efficiently with team members.
The ability to lift and transport materials up to530 pounds in weight.
Where you'll work:
This role is based at Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV—an easy commute from the city of Pittsburgh, PA. This 550,000-square-foot facility is our hub for high-volume battery production and a leader in the new era of American energy manufacturing.
