Accountabilities:
- Lead the design, launch, and ongoing management of a national membership engagement and mobilization program
- Develop and execute multi-channel communication strategies (email, SMS, digital platforms) that drive member participation in advocacy and electoral actions
- Collaborate with field and political teams to coordinate on-the-ground activations such as canvassing, phonebanks, events, and volunteer recruitment
- Build and manage segmented audience engagement strategies to tailor messaging and improve activation rates
- Partner with analytics and data teams to test messaging, track engagement performance, and optimize action pathways
- Ensure all mobilization activities are accurately tracked, measured, and reported using relevant systems and tools
- Create and maintain a strategic communications calendar aligned with campaigns, news cycles, and policy opportunities
- Translate wins, stories, and campaign outcomes into compelling narratives that strengthen member engagement and motivation
- Ensure compliance with reporting requirements and coordination across legal, finance, and compliance stakeholders
- Collaborate across communications, marketing, and digital teams to ensure alignment of messaging and maximize reach
- 3–5+ years of experience in membership engagement, organizing, advocacy communications, campaigning, or related fields
- Demonstrated experience building or managing membership mobilization or large-scale engagement programs
- Strong writing and messaging skills with the ability to tailor tone and content for diverse audiences
- Experience managing multi-channel communications campaigns (email, SMS, digital advocacy tools)
- Familiarity with CRM and organizing tools such as Salesforce, VAN, Mobilize, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of political, civic, or climate advocacy ecosystems and audience motivation strategies
- Ability to analyze engagement data and translate insights into actionable communication strategies
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across field, policy, and communications teams
- Comfort communicating with diverse audiences across geographic, cultural, and political contexts
- Self-starter with a proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented mindset

- Annual salary range: $78,000 – $83,000 (commensurate with experience)
