Business Development Underwriter

Role responsibilities

The E&S Senior Business Development Underwriter will manage an assigned underwriting territory to achieve profitable growth by underwriting new business and managing agency relationships. Key responsibilities include building agency relationships, evaluating risks, and delivering timely quotes and policy issuance.

Requirements

Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and over six years of related insurance experience, with a preference for advanced professional insurance coursework. Surplus lines underwriting experience and familiarity with online underwriting tools are highly preferred.
