Frontend Central Product Integration Engineering (cPIE) AI Transformation Skill Management Engineer

Primary Responsibilities
AI-Driven Process & Yield Innovation
- Initiate and lead new AI/data solutions to uncover process, test, and design improvement opportunities, with specialization including but not limited to:
- UE_ROW & all quality indices
- Front End-PTS integration
- High-value-bits (PG2+) yield
- Any yield improvement area spanning process, equipment, test, and design domains
- Develop AI-enabled modeling, monitoring, and benchmarking frameworks that push tool performance to best-in-class standards
- Champion process equipment prognostics and process integration optimization through machine learning and agentic AI frameworks
- Identify test optimization opportunities that directly translate into higher product grade yield
- Proactively discover and pursue new yield improvement vectors through data-driven insights and AI-assisted root cause analysis
AI Agent Skill Development & Management
- Take end-to-end ownership of AI agent skill development — from requirements gathering and skill design to testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
- Architect and manage a portfolio of AI agents and skills tailored to semiconductor engineering use cases — including process monitoring, yield analysis, equipment diagnostics, and test optimization
- Prototype AI-assisted solution mock-ups, validate feasibility, and demonstrate measurable business value
- Integrate AI tools and insights into daily workflows to meaningfully improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness — exercising sound judgment and adhering to organizational standards and legal requirements
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with site Process & Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing (MFG), and Product Integration Engineering (PIE) teams to establish feasibility of new AI initiatives and co-develop impactful solutions
- Partner with Global Quality (GQ), Product Engineering (PE), Central PEE (CPEE), Smart Manufacturing AI (SMAI), Technology Development (TD), and Suppliers to deliver end-to-end solutions and drive BKM development and deployment to production at scale
- Accelerate AI adoption among peers — cultivating cross-site and cross-SWAT connections and earning credibility as a trusted AI leader
- Facilitate and lead initiatives to design and optimize current systems, methods, and tools toward best-in-industry standards
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently while remaining dependable and highly effective in multi-functional team environments
Communication & Influence
- Communicate AI insights and solutions clearly and compellingly — in both verbal and written formats — to audiences ranging from engineers to senior leadership
- Self-motivated and capable of operating independently with minimal supervision
- Manage competing priorities and drive enhancements to business processes and systems that are global in scope and impact
- Willing to support global engineering teams during non-standard hours when the need arises
- Able to travel as required to advance department and company objectives

Requirements & Technical Competencies
- Hands-on experience in PIE, Test Solution, Product Engineering, and/or Circuit Design Engineering; a solid understanding of Process/Product Integration is a strong advantage
- In-depth knowledge of semiconductor processes, equipment, and control systems
- Proficiency in data analytical tools including Y3, JMP, and Python for numerical experimentation; Statistical/Machine Learning expertise is a significant plus
- Proven track record of sound decision-making, effective multi-tasking, structured problem-solving, and thorough root cause analysis
- Strong critical thinking skills — with a habit of finding and acting on opportunities others overlook
- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to leverage AI tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, and delivering measurable business outcomes
- PhD / Master's / Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, paired with meaningful real-world experience
