The Business Development & Publishing Manager is responsible for running the commercial side of
Torpor Games’ titles: how they sell, where they sell, and how the studio works with store platforms.
This role supports sales strategy and owns reporting, day-to-day relationships with storefronts and
distribution partners, working across data analysis and partner negotiation.
• Experience in games business development, publishing, or platform relations.
• Familiarity with PC, mobile, and ideally console storefront backend tools.
• Confident working with sales data and reporting tools.
• Good at building relationships and negotiation.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Self-directed and proactive.
Preferred qualifications
• An existing network of platform and distribution contacts.
• Experience with deep branching narrative games such as Suzerain.

• Manage mobile store performance on the App Store and Google Play, including pricing, store
listings, and visibility.
• Run market and competitor analysis to guide pricing, positioning, and release timing.
• Develop go-to-market plans for new releases, DLC, and ports.
• Build and maintain sales reporting: sales, wishlists, conversion, refunds, and regional
performance.
• Read platform data and reporting tools and inform the team how this can support our decision
making.
• Grow distribution on third-party stores such as GOG, Epic Games Store, and Humble, and
manage key/code sales.
• Find and negotiate bundle partnerships, for example with store fronts such as Humble Bundle,
Fanatical and similar.
• Negotiate platform deals, featuring, and promotional placement.
• Handle day-to-day platform communication and partner relationships.
• Support publishing on platforms: store pages, launches, builds, and release logistics.
• Prepare and run quarterly business reviews for management.
