This position is located in the Office of Deployment for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Records Modernization - Integration Office (EHRM-IO), located within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA (DEPSECVA), where the incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst (Deployment). This position will be physically located in a VA owned or leased office/space and require up to 75% official travel.
Conducts in-depth studies of data derived from EHRM-IO systems reporting and applies statistical methods and techniques directed toward operational improvements. Analyze and interpret policies, audit recommendations, and inspection findings to resolve problems and improve effectiveness and/or efficiency of operations. Present clear, concise, and well-structured briefings that address issues, desired outcomes when composing the material. Identifies problem areas, deficiencies, imbalances, or other similar factors that can affect performance and customer service. Track and report on the status of compliance activities and audit findings to EHRM-IO pillar leadership. Interacts with project teams and task managers to update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original plan. Coordinate with senior Healthcare and IT Managers throughout agency in the implementation of process improvement practices. Consult with customers to evaluate functional requirements and translate functional requirements into technical solutions. Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
