ISC Materials Management Lead

As an ISC Materials Management Lead, you will play a critical role in supporting a high-priority aerospace defense program by ensuring the uninterrupted flow of materials required to meet customer commitments. You will serve as a key liaison between internal stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturing operations, engineering teams, and customers to drive material availability, resolve supply chain challenges, and support delivery performance.

This position requires a highly collaborative supply chain professional who can manage demand requirements, coordinate procurement activities, monitor supplier performance, and execute material strategies that support production schedules and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, proactive, and capable of driving results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Manage material planning and execution activities to support production and customer delivery requirements.
  • Partner with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of critical components and materials.
  • Create, manage, and track purchase orders while supporting inventory and demand planning processes.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to address material shortages and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Analyze demand signals, forecast requirements, and develop action plans to support business objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and lead recovery efforts to resolve delivery, quality, or capacity constraints.
  • Support customer commitments by maintaining material availability and providing timely status updates.
  • Drive issue resolution through effective communication, escalation management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Utilize project and program management principles to coordinate multiple priorities, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance material flow, inventory performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and contractual requirements.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Procurement, Planning, Purchasing, or related functions.
  • Experience working directly with suppliers and managing material availability in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience analyzing demand, inventory, and supply requirements.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to contractual and program requirements.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Buyer, Procurement Specialist, Material Planner, or similar role.
  • Aerospace, Defense, Aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience supporting complex customer programs or government-related contracts.
  • Project Management and/or Program Management experience.
  • Knowledge of supplier management, demand planning, inventory control, and production scheduling.
  • Experience working in ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and drive results in a matrixed organization.
