    • Conduct security assessments of cloud infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities, assess risk exposure, and define remediation strategies
    • Embed security best practices into DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines to support secure development and deployment processes
    • Leverage and optimize cloud security tooling (e.g., IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Inspector, WAF, Shield) and complementary third-party solutions
    • Support penetration testing activities, security audits, and remediation efforts to ensure timely resolution of findings
    • Develop and enforce secure architecture patterns across distributed systems, microservices, and application stacks
    • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into system design and delivery
    • Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement across the organization
    • Requirements

This role requires strong experience in cloud security engineering, particularly within AWS environments, combined with the ability to operate in fast-paced, high-scale product organizations. You should be comfortable working hands-on while also influencing broader security strategy and engineering practices.

      • 5+ years of experience in information security, with at least 3+ years focused on AWS cloud security
      • Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and security services, including IAM, KMS, WAF, and related tooling
      • Experience securing distributed systems, microservices architectures, and modern application stacks
      • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
      • Scripting ability in Python, Go, or TypeScript for automation and security tooling integration
      • Experience with DevSecOps practices and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines
      • Solid understanding of encryption, network security, secure coding practices, and vulnerability management
      • Familiarity with containerized environments and cloud-native architectures
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a risk-based security mindset
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience (advanced certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty are a plus)
      • Benefits

        • Competitive compensation with meaningful equity participation
        • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match
        • 100% employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents
        • 12 weeks of paid parental leave for all parents
        • Family-forming and gender-affirming care stipends
        • Unlimited paid time off to support rest and work-life balance
        • Fully remote-friendly work environment
