Global TV Distribution is a division of Comcast NBCUniversal.Overview: The Manager, Revenue Assurance, will help manage the processes and internal controls associated with the identification, documentation, communication and application of accounting standards governing License Revenue for Global TV Distribution. This position will work in partnership with Sales Administration, the Participations & Residuals team and other members of Finance to evaluate contract terms, determine proper revenue recognition under US GAAP and communicate the results.  This position reports to the Director, Revenue Assurance, Global TV Distribution.Responsibilities:Review Global TV Distribution contracts and identify, document and communicate accounting considerations for revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606Review contract set up in the rights management and revenue sub-ledger systems to provide assurance that revenue is properly recognized in accordance with US GAAPTrack and monitor licensee submission of monthly and quarterly royalty statements and coordinate with Global Finance Organization to ensure timely receipts and processingPrepare month-end and quarter-end revenue accrual/deferral entries and supporting documentation for reviewPrepare balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with Company policySupport the preparation of financial reporting disclosures and supplemental reporting to NBCU and ComcastPartner with the Participations & Residuals team to support participant audits and related inquiriesIdentify opportunities for process improvements, control...
