Accountabilities:
- Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and QA approaches in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain QA reporting dashboards, project plans, and delivery tracking mechanisms
- Participate in management reviews, meetings, and client teleconferences to ensure alignment on QA objectives
- Manage testing teams and oversee execution of QA activities across medium to large-scale projects
- Handle escalations, risks, dependencies, and issues while ensuring timely resolution
- Review and validate all testing artifacts, ensuring completeness and adherence to QA standards
- Conduct root cause analysis for defects and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee project-level change control and ensure baseline testing deliverables are met
- Provide regular status reporting and performance updates to client stakeholders
- Ensure strong governance across the full QA lifecycle and defect management process
- 10+ years of experience in manual and functional testing across complex software environments
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing QA teams or leading testing efforts
- Strong understanding of the full software testing lifecycle and SDLC processes
- Experience working with different development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
- Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., QTP or equivalent)
- Knowledge of mobile testing, performance testing, and defect tracking systems
- Experience with QA lifecycle tools such as Quality Center or similar platforms
- Familiarity with TCoE (Testing Center of Excellence) models and QA maturity frameworks
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage teams and drive accountability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Strong analytical skills with experience in estimation, budgeting, and test planning
