This is a high-impact clinical operations role focused on ensuring accurate, complete, and timely medication histories that directly support safe patient care in a remote pharmacy services environment. You will act as both a clinical technician and a team lead, working at the intersection of patient communication, pharmacist support, and workflow coordination. The role plays a critical part in reducing medication errors by reconciling complex medication lists across multiple care settings. In addition to hands-on clinical documentation, you will help guide day-to-day operations, support onboarding and training, and ensure quality and productivity standards are consistently met. Working in a fast-paced, fully remote clinical team, you will collaborate with patients, caregivers, pharmacies, and providers to resolve discrepancies and improve continuity of care. Accountabilities:
- Obtain, verify, and document complete and accurate medication histories by communicating with patients, caregivers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers
- Identify, escalate, and document medication discrepancies or clinical concerns for pharmacist review and resolution
- Support pharmacists with accurate clinical documentation within electronic medical records systems
- Coordinate daily workflow, staffing coverage, and team communication to ensure operational continuity
- Assist with onboarding, training, and coaching of pharmacy technician team members
- Monitor productivity, quality metrics, turnaround times, and adherence to regulatory and organizational standards
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and healthcare regulations
- Provide operational support to leadership in optimizing remote pharmacy service workflows
- Active State Pharmacy Technician License and National Pharmacy Technician Certification required
- 4+ years of pharmacy technician experience, including at least 3+ years focused on medication reconciliation or medication history in a hospital setting
- Strong understanding of medication management processes and clinical documentation standards
- Experience working with electronic health records such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and clinical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive work accurately
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote team environment
- Comfort working in a structured, compliance-driven clinical services setting
- Leadership experience or readiness to support training, coaching, and workflow coordination
- Hourly compensation range: $22 – $32 USD/hour (based on experience and location)
