Role responsibilities
The Environmental Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating environmental programs, including developing procedures to address pollution problems. They conduct research studies to develop methods for controlling environmental pollutants and prepare feasibility and progress reports.
Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and five years of experience in Environmental Safety or a related area. Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations and experience with EPCRA and TRI is preferred.
