JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
1. Digital Transformation & Strategy
• Lead the development and execution of the factory digital roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives
• Identify and prioritize opportunities for automation, digitization, and process optimization across operations
• Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives, including IoT, advanced analytics, and deployment of standardized digital solutions across the factory network
• Ensure harmonization and scalability of digital solutions through the adoption of global digital standards
2. Systems & Data Integration
• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve manufacturing digital systems (e.g., MES, IIoT platforms, digital applications)
• Ensure seamless integration between shopfloor systems, ERP (e.g., SAP), and other enterprise tools
• Act as the key point of contact for Master apps deployment, localization, and integration of digital applications within the factory
• Develop and maintain real-time dashboards, KPIs, and reporting systems to enhance operational visibility
3. Data Analytics & Insights
• Leverage data generated from digital systems to drive actionable insights
• Provide data-driven solutions for operations and quality to support decision-making
4. Automation & Process Optimization
• Design and implement automation solutions integrated with factory digital systems
• Support continuous improvement initiatives using digital tools, ensuring alignment with global standards
5. Digital Project Management
• Lead or support digital transformation projects, with a strong focus on solution deployment, rollout, and scaling
• Coordinate with global digital teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors for successful implementation
• Drive replication of successful digital use cases across lines and factories
6. Cybersecurity & Compliance
• Ensure all digital systems comply with corporate IT and cybersecurity policies
• Maintain data integrity, system reliability, and secure data flows across integrated platforms
• Support audits related to digital systems, data governance, and application security
• Ensure business continuity and maintain ownership of digital assets and backups
7. Training & Change Management
• Train and coach factory teams on digital tools, standards, and best practices
• Act as a digital champion to drive effective utilization of systems and applications
• Promote a strong digital culture and ensure sustainability of implemented solutions
• Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for digital tools

Experiences & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial automation systems
  • Understanding of IoT fundamentals and industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC)
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals and industrial connectivity
  • Basic programming skills
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as C# or Python
  • Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
