Associate Emergency Technician

The ER Technician I supports the clinical team by performing assigned tasks and activities according to skill level and patient needs as assessed and delegated by the Registered Nurse. These activities may include patient care such as obtaining vital signs and weights, patient comfort and hygiene interventions, assistance with toileting, transporting patients by gurney or wheelchair, and miscellaneous duties in assisting the physician and nursing team. The ER Technician I performs routine stocking and organizing of department supplies and equipment and prepares rooms between patients maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Shifts Available:

Part-time, 18 hours weekly, Night shift.

Part-time, 18 hours weekly, Evening shift.

 

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License Or 
  • Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification Or 
  • Within 60 days of hire: Washington Medical Assistant Registration 
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year Hospital, physician office, emergency services, or other medical setting.
