Uber Eats is seeking a Business Leader and Account Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to small and medium-sized restaurant partners across Japan, driving business growth and innovation. This is a critical role within our SMB business, responsible for managing the end-to-end experience for a key segment of restaurant partners. We are looking for candidates who possess strong relationship-building skills, the ability to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, and a balanced combination of customer-oriented thinking, critical thinking, strategic planning, sales expertise, operational excellence, and leadership. We seek highly adaptable individuals who can balance both long-term strategic initiatives and short-term tactical actions in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with restaurant partners Understand restaurant partners' needs and requests, providing appropriate support Utilize data-driven thinking to quickly identify restaurant partner challenges and provide necessary resources and support for resolution Collaborate with managers and leadership team to build the future of the SMB function in Japan Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Marketing, Customer Support, etc.) to resolve issues Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets Basic Qualifications 3+ years of sales or account management experience at a growth company, with solution sales skills Ability to make decisions based on data analysis and performance monitoring Energetic with a desire to make the local community better Native-level Japanese proficiency; comfortable reading and writing in English (candidates with a willingness to improve English skills are also welcome) Preferred Qualifications Extensive network and practical experience in Japan's restaurant industry Understanding of SaaS products, internet advertising, and marketplace ecosystems Project management experience with cross-functional stakeholders
