Accountabilities:

    The Manager, Commercial Operations will own commercial processes from contract execution to operational optimization, ensuring deals move efficiently while protecting business interests and supporting sustainable growth.

    • Manage customer contract operations end-to-end, including MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, order forms, and contract negotiations from initial review through signature.
    • Maintain contract management systems, including templates, clause libraries, negotiation playbooks, and governance processes.
    • Own renewal management processes to reduce risk, protect revenue, and ensure timely execution of customer renewals.
    • Lead commercial review processes for non-standard terms, partnering with external legal advisors when specialized support is required.
    • Support Sales teams with contract and pricing guidance, enabling faster deal execution while maintaining appropriate controls.
    • Develop and scale a structured deal desk function, including approval workflows, pricing frameworks, and commercial governance.
    • Create repeatable processes, documentation, workflows, and controls that improve consistency and operational efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities to reduce friction, improve deal cycle times, and build scalable commercial infrastructure.
    • Partner with Sales, Finance, Security, Product, and Leadership teams to align commercial strategy with business objectives.
    • Provide leadership visibility into contracting activity, renewal exposure, pricing trends, discounting patterns, and operational performance.
    • Manage relationships with outside counsel and ensure resources are used effectively for strategic and specialized matters.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a commercially minded operator with experience building processes, managing complex agreements, and partnering across multiple business functions. You should be comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

      • 7–10 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Deal Desk, Contract Operations, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Legal Operations, Procurement, or a related field.
      • Proven experience negotiating and managing customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and order forms.
      • Demonstrated ability to build, improve, and scale operational processes, workflows, and governance frameworks.
      • Experience managing teams, cross-functional programs, or business-critical operational initiatives.
      • Strong commercial and contractual judgment, including experience working independently or alongside external legal partners.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence Sales, Finance, Leadership, and customer stakeholders.
      • Ability to manage competing priorities, operate with incomplete information, and make sound business decisions.
      • Strong ownership mindset with a track record of bringing structure to complex or evolving environments.
      • Experience in B2B SaaS or technology organizations is preferred.
      • Experience with pricing governance, discount approval frameworks, and deal desk operations is a plus.
      • Familiarity with Salesforce and contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms is preferred.
      • Knowledge of vendor management, procurement processes, data privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001 is beneficial.
