D-List Food Server - Banquets (Citywide LV)

The primary responsibility of the Banquet Food Server is to provide prompt, courteous service to our guests and be knowledgeable of all menu related items for each function.

  • Have a full understanding the menu to answer any questions.
  • Responsible for the set-up of linen, silver, glassware and china for scheduled event.
  • Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests needs.
  • Clear empty plates and glasses from tables and place in side station
  • Adhere to and practice all safety standards.
  • Take pride in overall appearance of event.
  • Assist co-workers as needed.
  • Perform all side work duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Make sure all areas are free from debris.
  • Work requires 6 months previous food server experience.
  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Must present a neat and professional appearance with good hygiene.
  • Work requires interactions with customers, public and co-workers.
  • Work requires teamwork with other staff members.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts which may include nights, weekends (Friday through Sundays), holidays overtime when needed. In addition must be able to work New Year’s Eve and Super bowl.
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire hour shifts.

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public. 
  • Requires carrying serving trays weighing up to 15 lbs. and may require lifting bus tubs weighing up to 40 lbs. 
  • Shifts may vary based on business needs. Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke
