Accountabilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Databricks.
- Build and improve analytical data models that support financial decisions, product development, operations, marketing, and business growth.
- Develop robust ETL workflows and ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of data infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with Analysts, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality self-service analytics capabilities.
- Investigate datasets, validate business assumptions, and ensure accuracy and consistency before deploying new data solutions.
- Establish and promote best practices around code quality, data quality, documentation, and engineering standards.
- Support continuous improvement of data platforms by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
- Serve as a technical contributor and mentor by sharing knowledge, improving team practices, and helping elevate engineering excellence.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and data modeling.
- 5+ years of professional experience using Python for data processing and engineering workflows.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Databricks and distributed data processing environments.
- Strong experience with Apache Spark and building scalable data pipelines.
- Proven ability to translate complex business challenges into practical and reliable technical solutions.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts, analytics infrastructure, and production data systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to data accuracy, performance, and maintainability.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Analysts, Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing priorities effectively.
- Competitive salary range of $151,000 – $189,000 USD.
