We are seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Lucid Service’s NPI team. The ideal candidate would be proficient in project management and have a background in New Product Introduction. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. This program manager will manage a subset of vehicle sub-systems for Lucid’s Service organization.
The Role:
- Maintain a Service Bill of Materials (SBOM)
- Review engineering changes and documentation to verify serviceable component impact
- Collaborate with Design Engineers and Field Operations to identify opportunities for Service improvements
- Manage change implementation and part effectivity through PLM platforms
- Cascade engineering changes to downstream field data sources (parts catalog, service manual, etc.)
- Coordinate serviceability validation for introduction of new serviceable parts with Design Engineering and Mechatronic technicians
- Support Service Supply Chain teams to ensure a healthy supply strategy is implemented prior to product launch
- Document end to end part supersession for all serviceable parts in our ERP database
- Deploy and monitor inventory strategies to ensure the End-of-Lifecycle of parts are adequately supported in the field
- Provide field support with parts escalation inquires
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical background
- Minimum 5 years of automotive experience or equivalent experience
- Ability to organize and drive continuous program improvement
- Exceptional ability to interface and collaborate with individuals, groups, and suppliers
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion to continuously develop, improve, and maintain processes
Advantageous:
- Startup experience focused on early service program development
- Automotive aptitude for vehicle sub-system parts and manufacturing
- PLM Experience (Delmia or equivalent)
- ERP knowledge to systematically manage product master data and configurations
- Supply Chain knowledge for Service lifecycle
