Our differentiated battle management and Cyber solutions deliver timely, mission-enabling information and provide superior situational awareness and understanding to protect the U.S. and its global allies.Northrop Grumman Mission Systems has an opening for a Level 3 Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialists to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals at our San Diego, CA location supporting the F-35 CNI Programs. An incredible opportunity for an individual to work hand-in-hand with program managers, contracts, operations, business management, quality, and engineering!  The selected individual should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.What you'll get to do:Develop supply chain strategy and lead activities for GSC in all phases of planning and executionManage suppliers on cost, schedule, quality, and performanceAssess material shortages, flag time-critical purchases, and drive accelerationManage, report, and forecast material cost/performance of assigned program(s)Managing the material budget for contract requirements while supporting baseline/EVMS requirementsMaintain delivery performance metricsCoordinate cross-functionally, directs communication, coordinates with Suppliers, and integrates efforts across all GSC functionsAlign project scope and deliverables with customer requirements and works closely with the technical communityBrief the GSCPM, Program Management, and Operations on the status, Risk & Opportunities, and issues affecting GSC program performanceQualifications:Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Program/Project Management, Engineering, Business Management, or related field. We will consider 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.Experience with SAP or other ERP systemsKnowledge/experience in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)US CitizenshipPreferred Qualifications:Experience with cost, schedule, variance reportingProficient excel and analytical skillsControl Account Manager (CAM) experience and certificationExperience with Federal and Defense Contracting requirements including FAR/DFARSExperience with Supply Chain metrics, and driving performance to targetsDemonstrated ability to influence team members, interact with peers and all levels of management in the organization#MPRWhat We Can Offer You:Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive...
