As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring product and process quality, leading problem-solving initiatives, driving continuous improvement projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class aerospace solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced quality systems, analyze complex technical challenges, support audits and certifications, and influence product quality from supplier management through final inspection. We are looking for an Engineering professional with 3–5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, or related fields, strong analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement. Experience in aerospace manufacturing, AS9100 standards, Power BI, and advanced English communication skills will help you thrive in this challenging and rewarding role.

Objective: coordinates subordinates in the inspection and/or receiving testing and/or process and finished products, according to established procedures. 

Main functions:                                                               

  • Uses judgment and criteria to solve problems related with his/her work area, performing high precision tasks (such as failure analysis), by means of studies (capacity, correlation analysis, doe, etc). 
  • Assures the application of the non-conforming material control system (identification,  segregation and disposal). 
  • Generates, analyzes and presents inspection and testing reports. Notifies and requires corrective actions to the corresponding functions (purchasing, engineering, production, etc.) On non-conformances and the causes that originated them and verifies the effectiveness of corrective actions. 
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and/or multifunctional teams. 
  • Reviews the quality requirements for the introduction and transfer of new products  and/or processes. 
  • Generates, interprets and implements quality system documentation. Develops, modifies and maintains the standard operations procedures (sop) within his/her area. 
  • Coordinate the calibration program for inspection and test equipment (either by means of subordinates or external services). 
  • Supports the quality manager or the quality systems coordinator in communications with certification organizations. Can participate and/or facilitate audits performed by regulatory agencies.
  • Analyzes client complaints/returns and coordinates with other departments the implementation of preventive and corrective actions. 
  • Can train other supervisors and/or inspectors and/or personnel from other areas. 
  • Requires advanced technical knowledge of the final product, processes, equipment and raw materials, etc. 
  • Addresses problems in process related to suppliers, in coordination with the receiving area. Requires corrective actions from the corresponding supplier. Performs evaluation and inspection of materials received from suppliers. 
  • Can participate in the definition of goals and objectives for the quality department       and in the formulation of the department’s budget. 
  • Appraises the performance of subordinates and recommends the appropriate development plans. 

Educational requirements: engineering graduate.

Experience required: 3 to 5 years. Requires knowledge of aerospace products and experience in quality systems or related areas (engineering, production, etc.). 

Level of English fluency: b2-c1.- intermediate/advanced (technical reading and conversation). 

Computer usage

Intermediate/basic (use of office: word, excel, power point, etc.) Or application programs and application programs: ERP’s (enterprise resource planning, statistical software, databases. Etc.).
