Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Analyze and report on client and state specific requests, including ability to analyze, review, interpret, and summarize detailed medical claims and enrollment data 

  • Independently determines methodologies and approach for project

  • Lead the development of client deliverables including written documents

  • Manage timelines including completion of client deliverables (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.)

  • Ensures all work products are technically peer reviewed and submitted for consulting review

  • Actively communicates project status updates with internal team (junior and senior members)

  • Act as a resource for support staff

  • Participate in client meetings, client presentations and internal team meetings

  • Hybrid work schedule available for local candidates 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • 1-3 years of experience in related field, or an internship

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in a professional environment performing actuarial, data, financial or health care related analyses and consulting

  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, and preserve required licenses

  • Thorough understanding of health care delivery, with emphasis on Medicaid

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Expertise using Microsoft Office suite

  • Presentation skills

  • Proficient use of applicable technology

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbal

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
