We're looking for a compassionate Licensed Massage Therapist/Myotherapist to join our Galveston team on a part-time basis. In this unique role, you'll provide therapeutic massage services that help relieve pain, reduce stress, promote relaxation, and enhance the overall patient experience within our freestanding emergency room.

What You'll Do as the Myotherapist

As a member of our Hospitality team, you will:
• Provide therapeutic massage treatments using appropriate clinical massage techniques.
• Assess each patient's comfort level and tailor massage services to their individual needs.
• Collaborate with nurses, providers, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Create a calm, reassuring experience for patients and their families.
• Assist patients throughout their visit by answering questions and anticipating their needs.
• Maintain treatment equipment, massage tools, linens, and supplies.
• Keep patient care areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Support Hospitality Health ER's commitment to first-class customer service.
• Assist with additional hospitality-related responsibilities as needed to support the team.

    Qualifications for the Myotherapist

    • Current Texas Massage Therapist License (TDLR) required.
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Previous massage therapy experience preferred.
    • Customer service or hospitality experience is a plus.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and team members.
