Accountabilities:

    The Credentialing Account Manager will own client success initiatives, oversee credentialing operations, and ensure smooth provider enrollment processes. This role requires strong relationship management, operational leadership, and the ability to improve workflows while maintaining compliance and service quality.

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, proactively managing communication, expectations, and relationship health.
    • Lead regular client meetings to review credentialing performance, discuss challenges, share updates, and align on strategic goals.
    • Monitor key performance indicators such as credentialing turnaround times, retention metrics, network adequacy, and client satisfaction scores.
    • Oversee provider enrollment, credentialing, and re-credentialing activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
    • Maintain visibility into provider statuses, payer communications, documentation, and enrollment workflows across internal systems.
    • Manage complex provider, payer, and claims-related escalations by coordinating solutions across relevant stakeholders.
    • Apply expertise in CAQH profiles, payer applications, credentialing platforms, and healthcare databases.
    • Identify workflow improvements that reduce delays, improve provider experiences, and increase operational efficiency.
    • Develop and standardize SOPs, reporting processes, and quality controls to support scalable operations.
    • Analyze trends, bottlenecks, and operational data to recommend improvements and support strategic decision-making.
    • Partner with internal teams including Revenue Cycle, Operations, Compliance, and Clinical Leadership to ensure alignment.
    • Provide leadership updates on enrollment progress, operational risks, capacity planning, and improvement initiatives.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings strong experience in healthcare credentialing, provider relations, and client management, with the ability to lead teams, optimize processes, and communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders.

      • 5+ years of experience in provider relations, credentialing, enrollment, or healthcare operations.
      • 2+ years of experience managing teams, including Team Leads, supervisors, or operational staff.
      • 2+ years of account management, customer success, or client-facing relationship management experience.
      • Strong understanding of medical billing, payer enrollment, claims resolution, and healthcare operational workflows.
      • Proven ability to lead teams, establish accountability, and implement scalable processes.
      • Bachelor’s degree required; background in healthcare administration, business, or process improvement preferred.
      • Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills with excellent attention to detail.
      • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, with confidence influencing across teams and leadership levels.
      • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite and credentialing/enrollment databases.
      • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
      • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
