Job responsibilities
- Drive research analysis on one of the IPT themes (Defense & Aerospace, Advanced Manufacturing, Materials & Energy, Frontier Technologies, Economic Competition and Policy, Sustainability, and Development Finance) and produce regular research and deep-dive reports
- Discern and analyze fundamental drivers of IPT industries
- Produce and maintain quantitative indicators tracking progress or lack thereof of IPT industries development
- Project thematic developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with different lines of research and different business lines across the bank to leverage IPT research
- Communicate findings through business writing and presentations for research publications
- Maintain external relationships and contribute to internal and external client engagements
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 1-5 years’ experience in data analysis
- Demonstrated proficiency in quantitative analysis
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Experience with business writing and communication for research publications
- Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and team player mentality
- Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in the financial services industry or IPT-related industry research organization
- Experience collaborating across regions and teams
- Ability to organize and lead investor events and maintain external relationships
- Experience producing research for diverse audiences
