Note: This role is a temporary, full-time role with an expected end date of April 2028.
What You Will Do:
Publish and maintain Enbridge Liquid Pipelines Enterprise GIS and geographic databases supporting contiguous pipeline assets.
Perform daily GIS administration and maintenance, applying expertise in spatial data, projections, digital storage, and third-party datasets.
Partner with field operations and business teams to provide GIS technical support and ensure regulatory compliance through state and federal data submissions.
Design, implement, and maintain integrations between GIS platforms and enterprise data environments such as Databricks to support spatial analytics, automation, and business reporting.
Deliver sophisticated spatial analysis, thematic mapping, trend analysis, and reporting using ArcGIS and related GIS tools.
Define business requirements for GIS applications, support pipeline as-built processes, and provide end-user training for web and mobile GIS solutions.
Lead GIS application development and continuous improvement initiatives, creating wireframes and visual solutions that advance the overall GIS vision and strategy.
Who You Are:
Hold a Technologist diploma or a bachelor’s degree specializing in GIS; a focus in Geography, Computer Science, or a similar area is regarded as an advantage.
5 or more years of related experience.
Experience developing, administering, and enhancing GIS web applications using ArcGIS Enterprise, Portal for ArcGIS, and ArcGIS Pro.
Skilled in Feature Manipulation Engine (FME), GIS integration, spatial data management, and connecting GIS solutions with enterprise-wide applications.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve GIS and database issues while applying advanced knowledge of spatial and pipeline data, automation, quality assurance, and industry standards.
Effective communicator with experience documenting business requirements, improving workflows, and collaborating with technical and business customers.
Strong builder of customer and collaborator relationships, thrive in fast-paced environments, and work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Working Conditions:
Office environment.
Limited travel (<5%) to field offices, business offices, or conferences.
