Back to jobsManager, Quality AssuranceHybrid, Bangalore or Pune, IndiaApplyQA Manager  Hybrid, Bangalore or Pune, India RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement Inspire action and motivate the team to drive outcomes and achieve OKRs Define and track QA KPIs, providing regular updates and insights to senior and executive leadership Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Product, and Release Management to ensure consistent product quality Define and drive the overall QA strategy, including test planning, execution, automation, and release certification Own and evolve Legion's automation framework built on Playwright (Java and TypeScript) Oversee end-to-end automation pipelines using Argo and Jenkins Leverage Datadog for monitoring, observability, and proactive quality insights Champion best practices across test automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management using GitHub Drive root cause analysis on customer-reported issues and implement systemic fixes Maintain clear documentation of test frameworks, processes, and quality standards REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 7 + years of QA or Developer experience, with at least 3 years in a people management or QA leadership role Proven ability to inspire action, motivate teams, and drive measurable outcomes aligned with OKRs Demonstrated experience defining QA KPIs and presenting quality metrics and updates to senior leadership Excellent communicator with demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment and influence without authority Hands-on experience with Selenium Grid, TestNG, and JUNIT is required. Hands-on experience with Playwright (Java and TypeScript) is strongly preferred, as the team is actively transitioning to a Playwright-based automation framework Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly Jenkins and Argo Proficiency with GitHub, Datadog, and modern QA tooling Familiarity with Postman for API testing Strong programming skills in Java and/or TypeScript Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES Experience testing and leading QA in a SaaS Enterprise software environment is a strong plus Experience with test infrastructure, tooling setup, and environment management Experience working closely with DevOps teams on pipeline integration, infrastructure stability, and release operations is a strong plus Experience working with AI-assisted tools such as Claude, Gemino, ChatGPT Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, AWS Certified) are a bonus Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies WORKING HOURS This role is part of a globally distributed team at Legion.
