Accountabilities:
- Implement and configure Google SecOps environments according to client security requirements and best practices.
- Perform onboarding of log sources using BindPlane, Syslog, APIs, and other integration methods.
- Configure and manage collectors, pipelines, and log ingestion processes.
- Integrate different technologies and security platforms into monitoring environments.
- Configure parsers, event normalization (UDM), enrichment processes, and validate collected security data.
- Develop and adjust detection rules, alerts, and security use cases.
- Execute testing, validation, and quality checks during implementation phases.
- Create technical documentation, operational procedures, and implementation guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with client technical teams throughout project delivery.
- Provide troubleshooting, optimization, and post-implementation support.
- Contribute to improving security monitoring processes and operational efficiency.
- Proven experience implementing SIEM platforms.
- Practical experience with Google SecOps.
- Experience with BindPlane, including collector installation, configuration, and management.
- Experience integrating different log sources and security technologies.
- Knowledge of authentication and secure communication protocols such as TLS, SSH, LDAP, and Kerberos.
- Understanding of information security architectures and cybersecurity best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot integrations, data collection issues, and security monitoring challenges.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and confidence interacting with clients.
- Proactive attitude and ability to manage technical challenges independently.
- Google Cloud or Google SecOps certifications.
- Experience with BindPlane OP.
- Experience migrating SIEM platforms such as QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, ArcSight, Elastic, or LogRhythm to Google SecOps.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience creating detection rules using YARA-L.
- Experience with automation using APIs, Python, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of SOAR platforms and automated response workflows.
