The Role
The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Administrative Assistant provides critical administrative and organizational support to the EHS team. This role helps ensure EHS programs run efficiently by maintaining records, coordinating documentation, supporting training logistics, and assisting with reporting and compliance activities.
The position plays an important role in enabling a strong safety culture and supporting regulatory readiness across the site.
This is a fully on-site role based in Orangeville, Utah.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Documentation Support
- Maintain EHS records, files, permits, certifications, and regulatory documentation
- Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) database and ensure accessibility to employees
- Assist with document control for EHS policies, procedures, and forms
- Prepare and format reports, presentations, and correspondence for the EHS team
Training & Meeting Coordination
- Schedule EHS training sessions, meetings, and safety committee activities
- Track training completion and maintain training records and matrices
- Assist with onboarding documentation related to EHS requirements
Data Tracking & Reporting
- Enter and track EHS data such as inspections, incidents, corrective actions, and metrics
- Support preparation of monthly and quarterly EHS performance reports
- Assist with follow-up and documentation of corrective actions
Communication & Team Support
- Serve as an administrative point of contact for EHS-related inquiries
- Coordinate communication between EHS, site leadership, and employees
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and site visits with documentation and logistics

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business administration, safety, or a related field preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, coordinator, or support role preferred
- Experience supporting compliance, safety, or regulated programs is a plus
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Organization: Strong organizational and document control skills with attention to detail
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn EHS management systems
- Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally
