A Day in the Life

This is a high-impact, senior-level role serving as the strategic bridge between the Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management organizations and IT delivery teams. The position is responsible for translating complex regulatory and operational needs into actionable technical solutions, with a specialized focus on Digital Transformation and Agentic AI integration. The successful candidate will act as a "Product Thinker," moving beyond traditional requirement gathering to actively design AI use cases and automated workflows that drive the business agenda.

The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technology solutions, working closely with IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management departments. This position requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder management expertise, and the ability to drive process improvements across complex organizational environments.


This role does not just "support" IT projects; it drives the business agenda. By blending process improvement with advanced technology like AI and workflow automation, the position ensures that the Legal and Risk organizations remain agile, data-driven, and technologically forward-thinking. This will be a remote role located in Colombia.

Responsibilities may include the following: 

• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including IT, Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements

• Requirements Analysis: Translate business needs into functional specifications, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational objectives.

• Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and propose solutions that enhance compliance, reduce risk, and optimize performance.

• Risk & Compliance Alignment: Ensure all business processes and system changes adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.

• Documentation: Maintain audit‑ready documentation including requirements, workflows, and change logs.

• Project Support: Assist project managers in planning, resource coordination, and monitoring deliverables to ensure successful execution.

• Communication: Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to align stakeholders on project goals and outcomes.

Required Knowledge:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in multinational environments.

• Strong knowledge of IT systems, compliance frameworks, and risk management processes.

• Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders across diverse departments.

• Experience with requirements of gathering, process mapping, and functional documentation.

• Familiarity with regulatory standards and their impact on business operations.

• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

• Experience with AI Methodologies 

• Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Office Suite, and process modeling software.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

• Experience with Machine Learning is advantageous 

• Experience with AI is advantageous
