As the Quality Control Team Leader, your primary responsibility is to lead and support a team of Quality Control Auditors and the NOK Auditor Lead to ensure that quality control standards are consistently upheld across the production line. Reporting to the Quality Control Shift Manager, you oversee daily operations within your team, ensuring that rejects and issues are effectively processed and resolved to maintain production quality. You play a key role in addressing automation-related rejects, guiding the team to handle issues accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will monitor and support the performance and development of your team, fostering a proactive approach to quality improvement. Your collaboration with the Quality Control Shift Manager and cross-functional teams is essential for driving enhancements in quality processes, addressing performance metrics, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement across shifts.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Lead and support the team of Quality Control NOK Auditors, ensuring the accurate execution of rejected item processing. Maintain high attention to detail and strict adherence to established procedures to support consistent quality outcomes
- Organise and sustain an efficient and orderly workspace for the quality control team, promoting a smooth workflow that aligns with quality standards and facilitates productivity during each shift.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and work based instructions within the team
- Manage the collection and documentation of rejection data, ensuring accuracy and relevance to support Quality Control Shift Managers in monitoring performance metrics and contributing to continuous improvement goals.
- Lead and support ad-hoc root cause analysis projects, to identify causes of rejects and implement corrective actions to mitigate future occurrences.
- Facilitate cross-training within the quality control team, enabling team members to handle various rejection stations and increase flexibility in daily operations
Who You Are:

- Experience in quality control role in manufacturing industry
