🐦 About Birdie

At Birdie, we’re reimagining care for older adults. We’re building the technology that powers the future of home healthcare, empowering care teams with tools to deliver better, more dignified care, and enabling older people to thrive in their own homes for longer. Our all-in-one solution powers millions of care visits every month, equipping care providers with the tools they need to deliver exceptional, efficient care.

We’re not here to tinker at the edges. We’re here to radically transform a broken system.

That’s why we’ve built an all-in-one platform that supported over 60 million care visits and enabled care for 116,000 individuals in 2025, and we continue to grow our impact. We’re scaling fast, but staying true to our purpose. That’s why we’re proud to be a B Corp, using business as a force for good.

Founded in 2017, Birdie is backed by world-class investors like Index Ventures, Sofina and Omers. In 2023, we ranked #6 in the Deloitte Fast 50, making us one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK. You can check out more about our impact and recognition here.

But speed isn’t the point. Impact is.

⚡️ Your mission

As a Sales Development Representative at Birdie, your mission is to open the door to better care by bringing the Birdie product to more home care agencies. You'll run an allbound prospecting motion, combining outbound outreach with inbound and marketing signals, to start meaningful conversations with home care owners across the UK. Every meeting you book puts Birdie's platform in front of another agency, showing them how it enables smarter, more preventative care delivery, and brings us closer to radically improving the lives of millions of older adults.

🦸 How you will contribute

  • Build pipeline through an allbound prospecting process, blending calls, compelling email sequences and social selling to engage high-value accounts across every channel

  • Turn signals into strategy: process leads, intent data, email engagement and marketing touchpoints to decide who to reach, when, and with what message

  • Use marketing resources effectively to generate interest and strike up meaningful conversations, working in tight coordination with marketing on account-based campaigns and in-person events

  • Become an expert in the home care sector, so you can speak with authority and conviction about a niche but hugely important industry, and act as a trusted advisor to prospective partners

  • Listen actively on every call, understanding each agency's real pains before positioning how Birdie can help

  • Build a strong, open working relationship with your Account Executive, acting as the conduit between prospective partners and sales

  • Master our systems quickly, becoming proficient in HubSpot and our prospecting stack, and consistently exceed your monthly quota of qualified meetings

🤩 You'll thrive here if...

  • You can absorb an enormous amount of information about a new sector quickly, and distil it into sharp, confident verbal and written communication

  • You're genuinely drawn to the care sector and our mission, and want your work to matter beyond the number

  • You're a natural active listener with high emotional intelligence: curious, able to internalise others' perspectives, and engage appropriately

  • You're resilient and long-term minded, able to handle knock-backs and stay motivated through the ups and downs of prospecting

  • You're technically savvy and upskill fast in new tools, especially CRM systems

  • You're highly coachable, seeking out feedback and acting on it quickly

  • You're organised and self-directed, able to prioritise your own pipeline and manage multiple accounts and channels at once

🧠 Imposter syndrome is real - and we don’t expect you to tick every box. If you're excited about our mission and think you could make a difference here, we want to hear from you.
